This piece was made as part of the August 2021 group show "Out on a Limb" at The Woods Art Space in Regina, Saskatchewan. The entire show was about our responses to the pandemic and our expression of emotional catharsis for all that's happened since 2020. I used this as an opportunity to make an abstracted portrait that looks like it could be in water, drowning, or just lost in thoughts, as I felt this way very frequently in the early days of the pandemic.
