This piece was created for a group art show celebrating the 30th anniversary of Dessarts Sweets, a locally owned candy and ice cream shop in Regina, Saskatchewan. I experimented with stylization and texture here, and challenged myself with subject matter I don't tackle all the time. I was especially drawn to the shop's bright exterior colours, and aimed to highlight that in this piece.
